G3 Core Courses

Ph.D. students in the Center for Geomechanics, Geofluids and Geohazards have the opportunity to take core courses from four departments. With our unique interdepartmental and interdisciplinary approach, your studies in rock and fluid interaction will include everything from theory to mathematical modeling to applied deformation experiments.

Many of our students also tailor course work to their particular interests by taking courses from other areas on campus including statistics and engineering.
